How to rip BBC’s drum and bass radio shows

Bailey and Crissy Chris have the best tunes know to man on the D&B scene.
Wanting to listen to in MP3 at my leisure isn’t easy. I had to rip the show from http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/
Using the BBC Radio Ripper I managed to successfully dump out Crissy Chris and Bailey each week, albeit in 160kbps format. Some tips for [...]

Intabeats – the best drum and bass show out there.

Intabeats on Radio 1 is an excellent once a week show playing the best beats.
Bailey is a superb DJ and completely unirritating unlike the rest of the radio 1 djs.

Breakbeat.co.uk

http://www.breakbeat.co.uk/ is a great website to keep up to date on the latest jungle / drum and base stuff.
As it’s fairly minority, it’s hard to pick up on what’s in and what’s not. Still glad to hear Radio 1 still playing the odd bit of drum and bass.

Some tunes sound dated, this is usually because they were recorded on a 4-track and not the latest DAT tape. Sometimes they use some old samples too. But by and large, things haven’t changed much in 15 years.
My favourites have to be [...]
